Holidays in Vanuatu

Do you feel tired from the daily routine? Would you like to get away from it all and find a place to relax? Well, coincidentally, it just so happens we have this little resort on a tropical island which would be perfect for your holiday in Vanuatu. “Hidden” amongst tall tropical palm trees, surrounded by hedge fence, and a stone throwaway from the beach, this resort lodge might be just what you need for a care-free tropical island holiday. It’s called Worawia Resort Mele (formerly Worawia Holiday Haven), located on Efate Island, not far from Port Vila, in Vanuatu, South Pacific, which is only a short flight from Australia’s east coast.

At Worawia, Vanuatu holiday resort, you will find a selection of self-contained bungalows and deluxe dormitory holiday accommodation, which were built in traditional style, including bamboo-thatched walls, exposed ceiling beams and polished wooden floors. Inside each of the bungalows, you will find all modern conveniences which you need for a laid-back holiday, but without feeling constricted like in a hotel – nothing too little, nothing too much – only what you need to relax and enjoy yourself, without modern-life pressures. It’s really quite nice – with all the bungalows and colours blending in with the surrounds and creating a warm, friendly atmosphere. We think you’ll enjoy it, including our nurtured mini gardens surrounding each bungalow.

Port Vila is only minutes away

Our quiet surroundings, friendly atmosphere and close proximity to the town of Port Vila along with many other interesting attractions that Vanuatu offers, make it the perfect place to stay. Public transport is regularly available, so you’ll be only minutes away from Port Vila’s hillside and waterfront restaurants, duty free shops, cafes, markets, tours and sightseeings – all without having to put up with the hassle and bustle of a busy harbour holiday town.

Holiday resort accommodation

While we offer modern guest facilities and conveniences, including swimming pool with pool bar, small convenience store and Melanesian feast house, public phone and internet kiosk, and even mini postal agency, our low prices are proving ever more popular with our guests. Most of our guests tend to stay 7-10 days with us, while others enjoy our hospitality for 2 weeks or longer – getting additional discounts to our already low prices.

If you are interested in exploring other regions of the South Pacific, consider time share rentals in the area to save on your accommodation. If you find that you love the region and would like to return on an annual or biennial basis, try to find a time share rental there so that you and your family can return year after year for hundreds less than you might pay to lodge in a hotel.

Not only that we will provide you with a memorable stay at our friendly Worawia holiday resort, but we’ll also pick you up from the airport when you arrive. Just let us know your flight details and we’ll provide free airport transfer for you – even if it’s a late-night flight.

If you’re visiting other Vanuatu islands, such as Santo, Tanna, Pentecost, or others, you will find Worawia Holiday Haven particularly convenient. Stay with us for one night on your way to and one night on your way from other island(s) and we’ll also arrange free airport transfers for you.
