For your convenience, we also provide public telephone, including international telephone and fax facilities.
Just ask our reception staff for details and cost. In 2006 an internet kiosk will be available at the resort, and
Worawia is now the official Community Postal Agency for Mele and Mele-Maat area, selling postage stamps and post
cards. Telecom Vanuatu Ltd. phonecards and public phone booth are also planned for implementation during 2006.
‘Smol Stoa’ convenience store

Convenience store |
Upon your arrival, we provide you with some complimentaries in your room or bungalow, such as coffee and tea
sachets, some milk and water. But for your other immediate needs, we have a small convenience kiosk with basic
food, drinks and hygiene items. There are also various, unique hand-crafted works and souvenir items in the
kiosk.
Public bus stop at the front of the resort

Bus stop at Worawia |
When you decide to go shopping, to wine and dine, or just simply sightseeing to Port Vila, you can catch a
public mini bus right at the resort’s side gate. The buses run approximately every half an hour during the day and
less often after hours and on the weekends and public holidays. Worawia is only 5-10 minutes bus ride from Port
Vila – about 10kms distance.
’Alice’s Eatery’ and barbecue hut

Resort barbecue hut |
If you’re not in the mood to cook or prepare your own meals, your host, Alice, will be happy to prepare them for
you – be it a snack, cooked breakfast, or a main meal. We have a variety of choice meals on the menu – just ask
beforehand what’s available. There’s also mobile gas barbecue where we can prepare a juicy steak or sausages for
you – then serve it in our large BBQ hut with wooden dining tables and seating benches.
Swimming pool with swim-up pool bar

Swimming pool and bar |
For that relaxing drink, you won’t have to go far – our swim-up pool bar has them all, from fruit juices and
beer, to colourful cocktails and mixed drinks. And when you want to cool down, be it a morning swim or a refreshing
one after a hard day on the beach, you can enjoy the cool waters of our uniquely designed swimming pool for adults
and children. Our poolside has luxury sunbeds and tables with chairs and umbrellas and grassed area for the kids to
play in sight of their parents.
The authentic Melanesian Feast Night

Melanesian Feast Night |
Every Tuesday night, the authentic Melanesian Feast Night is held at our resort’s Feast House. Learn about local
customs and origins, watch the local dancers perform for you, and sample the earth-oven prepared buffet-style local
cuisine. And you’ll have the opportunity to taste the local kava, which every visitor to Vanuatu should do at least
once! Then, join in the fun and music with many guests, who come from other resorts in town, to spend a music, food
and dancing filled evening.
Conference or Meeting room

Outdoor seating |
If business has brought you over to Vanuatu, you will be pleased to know that we also have a small conference /
meeting room which can be hired at reasonable costs. It’s equipped with flip chart, whiteboard, overhead projector,
television and video player, tables and chairs. Suitable for small groups of up to a dozen attendees. Please
enquire with us about your requirements. The room also doubles as TV room in the evenings, if you want to catch up
on the news.
Child minding services

Nearby beach |
Although families like to stay and enjoy sightseeing and other activities together, there might be a time when
adults would like to have a night on the town alone. For that occasion, we can provide child-minding service, at a
small extra cost. Ask our reception staff about it.
Laundry and ironing services
Likewise, when your “washing basket” fills up and you run out of fresh new clothes, our staff will be happy to
help. Laundry and ironing services are available at a small extra cost – just ask any of our staff.
If something’s not listed here, it doesn’t mean it’s not available. So, don’t be afraid to ask if you need
something – we might be able to help.
