Golf Course
Where to Golf in Vanuatu
While you most likely are not going to Vanuatu just for golf, there are a number of resorts and country clubs
where you can get in a game or two while on vacation. Although you can bring your own clubs with you, if you are so
inclined, there are several places where you can rent clubs for your game.
If you plan to play an easy game or have a relaxing round, your best bet is to book accommodations at a resort
that has a golf course on site. On the island of Efate, you will find over half a dozen resorts and hotels that
offer a course for golf enthusiasts.
Le Meridien Golf Course
Although not one of the biggest resort golf courses in Vanuatu, Le Meridien Resort in Port Vila offers a 9-hole
course for guests to enjoy. There are also a number of other activities, like table tennis and swimming pools for
guests to enjoy while other family members are on the course.
Le Lagon Golf Course
Another resort that offers a 12-hole golf course, as well as golf clubs and hand carts for fire, is Le Lagon
Resort in Vanuatu. Le Lagon is located on Erakor Lagoon not far from the Bauerfield International Airport and Port
Vila.
Other Golf Courses
The Hideaway Island Resort and Marine Sanctuary also offer a note-worthy golf course for guests and island
visitors. While not an actual course, the Benjor Beach Club has a 100 meter driving range for golfers, as well as
the only 18-hole miniature golf course in Port Vila. Many more hotels, resorts, and lodges offer similar courses or
golf facilities too.
Port Vila Golf and Country Club

Playing golf at Port Vila Golf and Country Club golf course
For those looking for a challenging, 18-hole course, the best bet is to check out one of the two country clubs
in Efate. The first is the Port Vila Golf and Country Club, which offers a professionally designed course that
runs along the shore of the sea. The other, which also includes a course through the beaches, is the White Sands
Country Club. Both clubs welcome guests, as well as their members, to enjoy their courses while in Vanuatu.
If your hotel or resort does not offer a golf course on-site, you can typically make reservations or
accommodations at one of the golf courses at the surrounding area. However, with so many things to do and
experience in Port Vila, Efate, or other areas of Vanuatu, you may not find yourself with as much time to play golf
as you had originally imagined. There are a variety of resorts to be found on HotelsCombined.com that can provide you with golf courses or
recommendations.
