Where to Find Great Restaurants in Port Vila, Vanuatu

A part of any great vacation has to be all the wonderful and different varieties of food. One of the biggest questions you will get when you return home (after asking if you had a good time, of course) is “What did you eat?” So, just to make sure you have an answer, you should do a good job of sampling as many different foods and eateries as possible.

While vacationing in the tropical paradise that is the city of Port Vila, you will find that there are plenty of great places to eat. The following is a list of some of the most popular restaurants in the city.

Tilly’s

Located inside the Chantilly’s on the Bay Hotel, Tilly’s is more than your typical hotel restaurant. You can dine inside or outside on the balcony where there is a great view of the bay. It is a favorite for any meal of the day, as well as drinks all day long.

Vila Chaumieres

For some of the best French food around you should head to Vila Chaumieres. The restaurant is located just out of town on the road to White Sands. It sits almost directly on the beach and there is a great view of the lagoon. It makes for a great romantic dinner. You can take a taxi to and from the restaurant – you will find that it is definitely worth the trip.

Roxy’s on the Lagoon

You can find Roxy’s on the Lagoon at the Erakor Island Resort. It is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the dinner specials change every day. The view of the lagoon, as well as the good food, is the biggest reasons that so many come to Roxy’s on the Lagoon.

Café du Village

The Café du Village is a great al a carte French restaurant located on the harbor. It also serves coffee and snacks throughout the day. It provides a good view of Iririki Island as well.
