The South Pacific on the National Geographic Channel

The beauty and splendor of the Pacific Islands will be featured on the National Geographic Chanel throughout Asia on 6 TV channels in the month of April. The partnership between the South Pacific Tourism Organisation based in Suva, Fiji and the National Geographic Channel will see key attractions of the Pacific being featured on Asian TV Channels such as the National Geographic Hong Kong, Xing King China, National Geographic China block – Global Geographic, Channel V China, and Chinese Movies Hong Kong channels.

This feature will highlight the South Pacific islands to a global audience which will ultimately draw the attention of interested travelers. “With the Shanghai World Expo ready to open its doors on May the 1st, we see this as an excellent opportunity to showcase to China & Asia what the South Pacific has to offer”, said Mr Andrew Nihopara, Acting CEO of South Pacific Tourism Organisation. All the Pacific islands countries will be represented at the Shanghai World Expo under one umbrella, the Pacific Pavilion. (Source: South Pacific Travel Media)
