Vanuatu Cocoa Beans Used in Haigh
Chocolates
Global brand Haigh chocolates have now added Single Origin chocolate to
their collection with three premium quality tablets made with beans from Ecuador, Vanuatu or Peru. It’s a new
venture for Haigh Chocolates in response to customer demand and a greater interest in region specific tastes.
Cocoa beans, like coffee and wine, differ from region to region according to growing conditions. The way beans are
grown and dried varies in each region. Environmental factors such as soil, rainfall and humidity add different
characteristics to the bean. (Source: www.haighschocolates.com.au)
